Marysol has worked over 19 years in the film industry.

She began her journey in the world of film production back in 2004, where she had the opportunity to meet her first acting teacher while working on a Swiss tv production.

Inspired by this encounter, she decided to further her skills by studying acting in Berlin, where she honed her craft and had the privilege of performing on the esteemed stage of Deutsches Theater Berlin (DT).

During her studies, Marysol also explored her love for storytelling through screenplays. She delved into the world of editing and proofreading, offering her expertise to various film production companies. This hands-on experience allowed her to truly understand the intricacies of script development and the power of a compelling narrative. After completing her studies, Marysol took on a role in marketing and distribution for a respected film production company.

One of the most memorable moments in Marysol’s early career was being part of the premiere tours in Germany for acclaimed films like «The Cove» by Louie Psihoyos, which won an Oscar for Best Documentary, and «Carlos» by Olivier Assayas, a Golden Globe-winning miniseries. These experiences provided her with firsthand exposure to the industry’s acclaimed works and allowed her to witness the power of cinema in captivating audiences.

In 2014, Marysol embarked on a new chapter as a caster for Paolo Sorrentino’s award-winning film «Youth», which received accolades at the European Film Awards. This opportunity opened doors for her, leading to collaborations with renowned directors such as Roman Polanski.

As a casting director, Marysol finds immense joy in assemble talented casts that bring stories to life and showcase the artistry of filmmaking.
